Prosiect Arbennig ar Foroedd a Threftadaeth Forol Cymru
Oes gennych chi atgof arbennig am y bywyd gwyllt o amgylch arfordir Cymru neu am ein treftadaeth forol? Beth am stori dda i’w dweud neu lun i’w rannu?
Boed yn atgofion am blentyndod neu’n straeon gan eich tad-cu a’ch mam-gu, meddyliau am sut mae’r môr wedi newid, lluniau, llythyrau neu hen gasgliadau o gregyn … mae’r Ymddiriedolaethau Natur eisiau dod â’r straeon hyn yn ôl o’r dyfnderoedd.
Mae Moroedd Byw Cymru yn brosiect arfordirol ledled Cymru sy’n cael ei drefnu gan Ymddiriedolaeth Natur Gogledd Cymru ac Ymddiriedolaeth Natur De a Gorllewin Cymru. Drwy’r prosiect, bydd yr Ymddiriedolaethau Natur yn astudio, yn cofnodi ac yn rhannu atgofion morol pobl, o eiliadau arbennig i fywyd gwyllt i straeon am bysgota a safbwyntiau am sut mae amgylchedd y môr yng Nghymru wedi newid.
Bydd yr atgofion a’r straeon y bydd Ymddiriedolaethau Natur yn eu casglu’n cael eu harddangos yn archif weledol Moroedd Byw Cymru ac bydd unrhyw un yn gallu gweld yr archif yma. Mae hyn yn golygu na fydd yr atgofion morol arbennig yma’n cael eu hanghofio fyth! Bydd straeon ar gael mewn amrywiol gyfryngau, gan gynnwys gair ysgrifenedig, ffotograffau, sain a fideo.
Os oes gennych atgofion yr hoffech eu rhannu gyda’r prosiect, cysylltwch â Beth Thompson a thîm y Prosiect Moroedd Byw yn y Cei Newydd. Eu manylion cyswllt yw:

Special Project on Welsh Seas and Maritime Heritage
Do you have a special memory for the wildlife around the coast of Wales or our marine heritage? How about a good story to tell or a picture to share?
Whether it’s childhood memories or stories from your grandparents, thoughts about how the sea has changed, pictures, letters or old shell collections … the Wildlife Trusts want to bring these stories back from the depths.
Living Seas Wales is a Wales-wide coastal project organized by the North Wales Wildlife Trust and the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. Through the project, the Wildlife Trusts will study, record and share people’s marine memories, from special moments for wildlife to fishing stories and perspectives on how the marine environment in Wales has changed.
The memories and stories collected by Wildlife Trusts will be on display in the visual archive of Living Seas Wales and will be accessible to anyone. This means that these special marine memories will never be forgotten! Stories will be available in a variety of media, including written word, photographs, audio and video.
If you have memories that you would like to share with the project, please contact Beth Thompson and the New Quay Living Seas Project team. Their contact details are:
