Cerddwyr

Dof mewn niwl, dof mewn heulwen,
A dof drwy’r glaw yn llawen –
Awn i gyd, pob un â gwên.

DIOGELWCH

Cofiwch mai chi sy’n gyfrifol am eich diogelwch eich hunain ac felly:

  • darllenwch fanylion y daith i sicrhau eich bod yn ddigon abl i’w chyflawni heb oedi’n ormodol;
  • dewch â dillad addas o ystyried adeg y flwyddyn a rhagolygon y tywydd, yn enwedig esgidiau cymwys i dir gwlyb ac anwastad;
  • cadwch gysylltiad â gweddill y criw trwy aros o flaen y trefnydd a fydd wrth gefn y rhes o gerddwyr;
  • hysbyswch drefnydd os gadewch chi’r daith yn gynnar;
  • cadwch gŵn ar dennyn;
  • cymerwch ofal arbennig wrth groesi ffyrdd ac wrth gerdded:
    • ar hyd ffyrdd heb balmant;
    • ar lethrau serth;
    • ar lwybrau lle mae disgyniad ar un ochr fel yn aml ar lwybrau’r arfordir

DYSGWYR

Cofiwch fod dysgwyr yn dod i gerdded gyda’r grŵp er mwyn cael cyfle i sgwrsio â Chymry lleol. Da chi, agorwch sgwrs â nhw pan allwch.

Cerddwyr Cylch Teifi Walkers

2018 – 2019 Programme

An opportunity for Welsh speakers and learners to enjoy each other’s company while walking.

Walks on the second Saturday of every month, between October and June. Walks of about two hours usually, leaving the starting place at 10.30 every time – arrive by 10.20.

Organizers:

Siân Elis-Gruffydd, 01239 682287 sian.ymaohyd@btinternet.com

Terwyn & Marged Tomos, 01239 612928 terwynamarged@btinternet.com

Philippa Gibson, 01239 654561 philippa.gibson@gmail.com

Ingrid Marcham

Howard Williams

  • We will go on the walk every time, rain or shine, but phone if you would like more details.
  • Share cars to reach the starting point, if you can.
  • Usually it will be possible to socialize over a cuppa or a pint in the area after the walk.

SAFETY

Remember that you are responsible for your own safety, and so:

  • read the details of the walk to ensure that you are able to complete it without too much delay;
  • bring suitable clothing taking into consideration the time of year and weather forecast, especially suitable boots for wet and uneven ground;
  • keep contact with the rest of the group by keeping in front of the organizer who is at the back of the line of walkers;
  • let an organizer know if you leave the walk early;
  • keep dogs on a lead;
  • take special care when crossing roads and when walking:
    • along roads without a pavement;
    • on steep slopes;
    • on paths where there is a drop on one side as often occurs on coastal paths.

LEARNING WELSH?

Welsh will be the language of the walk, so if you are beginning to learn you may not be able to follow much of what is said but it is an ideal opportunity to use all the Welsh you have learned and you can ask others to give you the gist – but please try to avoid using ‘English-only’ in any conversation.
